HE Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, Minister of Transport and Communications, affirmed that the aviation sector in Qatar has achieved continuous growth, and the transport sector has witnessed a remarkable development in the light of the development boom under the wise leadership of the country.

Delivering the opening speech at the 5th Global Aviation Training and Trainer Plus Symposium, Al Sulaiti added that one of the prominent developments in the aviation industry is Hamad International Airport (HIA) which has become one of the best airports in the world in terms of competence, service and comfort for passengers. In addition, Qatar Airways (QA) took the lead and won numerous international awards.

HE Al Sulaiti stressed that Qatar will continue its effort to implement many projects in the future to stay in line with all the developments in the aviation sector, which is one of the most advanced industries in the world, for a promising future and an advanced homeland that takes its place among the countries of the world, in order to realize the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.

He pointed out that Qatar Aeronautical College (QAC), which is hosting the symposium, has exerted great efforts to reach its deserved position through signing many agreements, memorandum of understanding and accreditation with international universities. In order to raise the level of majors provided to students and giving them the chance to study aviation science in multiple specialties.
