MOEHE Honors Winning Students in Foundation Stage Competitions

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education’s Department of Early Education concluded the qualifiers and activities of the Arabic language competitions, “A best start; we read fluently,” the English Language Competition “Super Readers” and the Islamic Education Competition “My Zikr Saves Me,” by honoring the students of the participating schools for the foundation stage, and awarding those with high skills in Arabic fluency the Medal of the Ambassador of Arabic Fluency for the Early Education Department.

In this context, Assistant Director of the Early Child Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Dhabia Al Khulaifi, said that the Early Child Department sought to serve the student and hone his skills, through effective partnership with schools to plan and implement special activities that are entrenched in the child’s memory and contribute to breaking the stalemate and stereotypes in the school day, in addition to its impact on stimulating competition among students to reach the best, noting the role of parents in supporting the participation of their children in these competitions.

In her speech during the honoring ceremony, she added that these competitions come within the framework of what is provided to teachers and coordinators in terms of training, technical support, supervision and guidance to improve the educational output, referring to the competitors’ diligence to obtain the title and to reach the first positions in the competitions, which showed the extent of the amazing achievement and the amount of skills and abilities that our students acquired in the early education stage.
