London, Rafael Nadal will make a return to the pre-Wimbledon Queen's club event from June 19 after missing the tournament a year ago with a wrist injury, organizers confirmed Tuesday.
Spain's sixth-ranked double Wimbledon winner - and recent Australian Open finalist against Roger Federer - won the West London title nine years ago. His Wimbledon trophies in 2008 and 2010 were both set up by Queen's entries.
The 30-year-old Nadal rolled back the clock in Melbourne as he lost to Federer in the Australian Open final. But the success has left the 14-time grand slam winner hungry for more titles after sorting out his fitness last autumn.
