Cleveland, - LeBron James scored 32 points to help the Cleveland Cavaliers barely edge past the Indiana Pacers 109-108 in the first game of round 1 of the play-offs.
The four-time MVP added 13 assists and six rebounds for the top-seeded defending champs. Cavaliers' point guard Kyrie Irving had 23 points as well to help his team fend off the Pacers. Cavaliers dominated the game in the first three quarters but came close to squandering their lead in the fourth. Paul George scored 29 points for the Pacers, but that was not enough to prevent defeat. George had a chance to give his team the lead with a shot at the buzzer, but he was double team and forced to pass to C. J. Miles who missed the jumper. (QNA)
