Nice weather forecast over weekend

Temperatures on Thursday are expected to mark 3-4 degrees below annual average, so it will be pleasant in the highlands, moderate in the plains and relatively hot to hot in other parts of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times in the Badia, the JMD added.

Over the next two days, mercury levels will rise few degrees, making moderate weather in the highlands and the plains, while it will be relatively hot to hot in other regions, the department further said.

Daytime temperature expected for today will reach 27 degrees Celsius in Amman, dropping down to 14C, while it will be much hotter in the city of Aqaba as mercury levels will register 36C during daytime, sliding to 21C at night.
