PM visits Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, 1st, final add

At the beginning of the meeting, the Egyptian Prime Minister welcomed the visit of Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh to the new administrative capital, as the first visit of an Arab official at this level to examine the project, and which confirms the strength of coordination between Jordan and Egypt and the keenness to exchange expertise and benefit from experiences in both countries.

The Egyptian Prime Minister explained the planning, financing and implementation strategy on which the New Administrative Capital project is based on, and the governmental, residential, cultural and service facilities and neighborhoods that it includes, to serve as an integrated city on an area of 170,000 acres, and its implementation is supervised by the New Urban Communities Authority and the Egyptian Armed Forces.

Khasawneh and Madbouly toured key projects, facilities and landmarks in the Administrative Capital, during which relevant officials gave a briefing on these projects, their progress, the level of achievement and the future stages of the projects, some of which are under construction.

Senior officials from both countries attended the meeting.
