Manchester, Gabriel Jesus continues to announce himself as the Premier League's latest superstar, this time scoring a brace to help Manchester City beat Swansea 2-1.
He scored his second in the 92nd minute to give his side a crucial three points as they fight for a top four finish. The game was easy for City having taken the lead through the Brazilian in the 11th minute. The game seemed heading towards a dull victory for the Guardiola side until Swansea star Gylfi Sigurdsson equalized in the 81st minute.
Sigurdsson collected substitute Luciano Narsingh's pass and guided it low past Willy Cabballero into the bottom corner from 20 yards to score in his third straight league game. He had earlier seen his effort pushed onto the post. City rallied after the goal and Jesus tapped home his own header to seal the points.
City now move to third place with 49 points. Swansea are 17th with 21 points.
