Salome Zourabichvili, President of Georgia, praised her country's relations with the UAE, while noting the positive effects of Emirati investments on Georgia's economic development.
She made her statement while receiving Essa Abdulla Al Nuaimi, UAE Ambassador to Georgia, during a reception held yesterday in the Grand Hall of the National Park Complex in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, which was attended by members of the Georgian government, several ambassadors and officials.
During their meeting, Al Nuaimi conveyed the greetings to Zourabichvili of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, as well as His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on the occasion of Georgia's National Day.
Zourabichvili thanked Al Nuaimi for the greetings, which express the regards of the UAE's leadership towards Georgia and their strong relations.
