HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Than met today in New York with HE President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Mirjana Spoljaric, on the sidelines of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
They discussed cooperation between the State of Qatar and ICRC, especially in providing relief to those affected by the war in Sudan and neighboring refugee-hosting countries. They also deliberated bilateral cooperation in other conflict zones, and bolstering joint work in the fields of food and medical aid, environmental sanitation, and water provision. (QNA)
