Abu Dhabi- The 27th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair kicked off here Wednesday under the slogan “You’re The Book” and will run until May 2.

The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) includes a total of 1,320 exhibitors, representing 65 countries and publishing more than 500,000 titles in over 30 languages.

This year’s programme will also feature over 800 activities, discussion sessions and seminars.

Public Libraries and Heritage Department at Qatar’s Ministry of Culture and Sports also participated in the Fair where it will showcase a collection of literary, historical and intellectual publications.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University Press also showcases a number of its new books, including titles for adults, children, researches and studies, within the framework of the GCC joint cultural cooperation.

The 27th Abu Dhabi International Book Fair is celebrating China and the relaunch of the Silk Road project from Abu Dhabi to highlight the Emirate’s ability in encouraging cultural giving.
