The State of Qatar participated Sunday in Muscat in the seventh preparatory meeting for the undersecretaries of the Ministries of Education and the 23rd preparatory meeting for the undersecretaries of the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, chaired the Qatari delegation to the meetings.
These preparatory meetings precede the ministerial meetings of the Ministers of Education and the Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the GCC countries, which are scheduled to begin on Monday in Muscat.
The seventh meeting of the Ministers of Education will discuss several topics that serve the joint educational work of the GCC countries, including digital transformation, cybersecurity, and enhancing international cooperation in the education field among the GCC countries, other nations, and international organizations.
The 23rd meeting of the Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research will discuss hosting the unified electronic platform for the universities of the GCC countries on Microsoft Cloud in Qatar, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in addition to several other topics.
