Doha, - Qatar's national shooting team is taking part in the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup in shotgun, which kicks off Friday in the Cypriot city of Larnaka and runs until May 8 with the participation of 124 shooters from 52 countries competing in skeet, trap and double trap.
The Qatari squad left on Tuesday headed for Laranka. Nasser Al Attiyah, Abdulaziz Al Attiyah and Hassan Al Mannai will represent The Maroon in the skeet competition, while Said Abu Shareb will link up with the rest of the squad on Friday.
The Qatari national team entered into a special domestic training camp ahead of the tournament. Skeet competitions start on Friday and Saturday. (QNA)
