Bani Saad district in Diyala governorate recorded a new infection with hemorrhagic fever, for a woman in her fifties.
Director of the veterinary hospital in Diyala, Ibtisam Muhammad, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a confirmed case of hemorrhagic fever was recorded for a woman in her fifties who has a field for raising livestock and sheep in Al-Jawadin neighborhood on the outskirts of Bani Saad district, southwest of Baquba.
She added that the infection is the third of its kind this year, noting that a joint team took veterinary and preventive measures in the affected area by banning the entry and exit of cattle and sheep from Bani Saad for a period of 14 days.
