SHARJAH: Under the slogan ‘Partners in Making Creative Personality’, Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators launched the third edition of the ‘Theatrical Creativity Award’.
The event targets members of its institutions, Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, and Sharjah Capability Development – Tatweer, aged 6 to 31, to crown their creativity in theatre.
Through the award, Rubu’ Qarn Foundation seeks to motivate members to discover theatrical culture and self-knowledge. It measures and develops their knowledge based on the importance of theatre and its enlightening role in shaping their cultural awareness. It enhances their creative imagination, discovers their abilities, and provides them with the opportunity to express themselves freely.
Rubu’ Qarn provides members of its institutions, including children, and adolescents, the opportunity to participate in the four branches of the award, which include the theatrical viewing award, the theatrical reading a
ward, the theatrical performance award, in addition to the theatrical writing award, in accordance with the conditions specific to each branch of the award.
The award details will be announced in a series of introductory workshops scheduled at the headquarters of Rubu’ Qarn for Theatre and Performing Arts in City Centre Al Zahia in Sharjah and at the centres of institutions affiliated with the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation throughout the emirate.
