Saudi Business Center Showcases Services for Business Sector at Riyadh’s Expo 2030 Candidacy Reception

The Saudi Business Center participated in the official reception held by the Kingdom in Paris, France, on Monday. The reception was attended by delegates from 179 Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) member states as part of Riyadh’s candidacy to host Expo 2030.

During the event, the center’s officials reviewed its roles and services provided to the business sector. They addressed the economic reforms already implemented and the promising opportunities in vital sectors under Saudi Vision 2030.

Officials highlighted the center’s role in improving the quality of government requirements by utilizing digitization to reduce the time and cost of services as well as facilitating the journey of investors — both individuals and companies — interested in entering the Saudi market.

The center’s pavilion showcased its work since its establishment in 2020. It was reviewed by representatives from all member states of the BIE, high-level representatives from the public and private sectors, members of international organizations, and accredited diplomatic missions in France.

By bidding to host the Expo 2030, the Kingdom aims to highlight its economic potential. This includes its central geographic location between three continents — Asia, Europe, and Africa — and its modern and efficient infrastructure. Moreover, the bid seeks to showcase the Kingdom’s diverse tourism, cultural, civilizational, and heritage options.
