Manama, President of the Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA), Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza, received here today the Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Development Board (EDB), Khalid Ibrahim Humaidan, alongside a number of officials.
Dr. Mirza lauded EDB’s efforts to attract investments that contribute to creating new job opportunities that are in accordance with the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
He asserted that the meeting aimed to study the future plan for joint work between the sustainable energy sector and the relevant government departments, including EDB.
Dr. Mirza reviewed with Humaidan SEA’s projects and achievements, as well as ways to enhance cooperation between the relevant sides for the sake of Bahrain’s progress and prosperity.
Humaidan asserted that EDB strives to attract direct investments to Bahrain through focusing on specific sectors that serve the kingdom’s economic development, including the modern technology sectors, such as FinTech and the fourth Industrial Revolution, which, he said, will generate many job opportunities in the local market.
He added that EDB works directly with various ministries and government departments to support efforts aimed at consolidating the investment atmosphere in the kingdom.
Members of EDB’s delegation expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to SEA President for his interest in activating more cooperation mechanisms with the relevant sectors in a bid to achieve the leaderships’ vision on ensuring a better future for the coming generations.
