Shabwa Governor: May 22 is comprehensive station for Yemenis struggles for unity of land & people

The Governor of Shabwa, Awad Muhammad al-Awlaki, affirmed that May 22 represented a true embodiment of the will of the Yemeni people from Al-Mahra to Sa’ada, and a comprehensive station for the struggles of Yemenis over many decades for the unity of land, people and the restoration of Yemen for its historical and civilization role.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Governor Al-Awlaki said that the Yemenis’ celebration of the May 22nd National Day comes in light of challenges and conspiracies targeting Yemen, its unity, security, stability, and plundering of its wealth.

He stressed that all these conspiracies will fail in the steadfastness’ face of the Yemenis and their sacrifices in defending their homeland.

Al-Awlaki pointed out that those who adopt today the project of dividing Yemen in favor of the occupier represent only themselves and will not gain from behind their treacherous deeds and practices anything but disgrace.

He pointed out that the Yemeni people and their revolutionary leadership were able, with their faith, steadfastness and sacrifices, to defeat all conspiracies targeting Yemen and its unity, to make Yemen an independent state with its sovereign decision and outside the scope of tutelage and dependence on the outside.

The Governor of Shabwa expressed his congratulations to the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, on the occasion of the 33rd National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22.
