SPA to Inaugurate Saudi Arabia’s History Exhibition Ahead of National Day

Minister of Media and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari will inaugurate an exhibition on the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The launch of the exhibition in the main SPA headquarters later today comes as the Kingdom gears up to celebrate its 93rd National Day, which falls this year on Saturday.

The exhibition reflects the national media role played by the agency, promoting SPA’s educational and informational messages.

Saudi Arabia’s History Exhibition adds to the atmosphere of the National Day celebrations that reflect the comprehensive renaissance that the nation and those living on its soil have witnessed.

Under a visionary and capable government, the Saudi people have been living with pride of their religion and patriotism. The government has placed the Saudi people’s empowerment at the top of its priorities, enabling them to rise among peoples of the other nations with pride and dignity.

“Featuring Saudi History”

The exhibition will launch with a vision that encompasses the different historical stages of the Saudi state, presented in a sequential timeline and starting with the founding of the first Saudi state over three centuries ago.

The exhibition then displays features of the historical stages of the country through the second and third Saudi states, culminating in King Abdulaziz bin Abdurrahman Al Saud’s declaration of the unification of the nation under the name of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The exhibition will shed light on this historic event, which started a modern Saudi state, and its development under the reigns of honorable kings through the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Through the exhibition, visitors will be able to view the Kingdom’s vibrant present and bright future in an informative format based on reliable information and supported by interactive footage.

The exhibition aims to enrich the message of media and its national content within an institutional and integrated framework alongside the relevant state entities by presenting interactive visual content.

The exhibition targets various segments of society, especially youth and students in different educational institutions.

It will also provide interactive and informative content that helps foreign media, official delegations, and members of the diplomatic corps form a comprehensive perception of the phases of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s history.
