The Supreme Committee for Elections and Referendum condemned the Swedish authorities for allowing extremists to burn copies of Holy Qur’an, with the protection of the Swedish police.
In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the committee denounced the Swedish authorities’ encouragement of extremists to commit these violations and racist practices that deliberately offend Muslims’ feelings and sanctities, particularly the Holy Qur’an
