Amman, The 2019 General Secondary Education Certificate Examination, locally known as Tawjihi, will kick off tomorrow, June 11th, with over 160,000 students of academic and vocational streams taking the exams.

The exams will be split into two sessions, where the first begins at 10 a.m. and the second at 12:30 p.m., with an additional 10 minutes depending on the session and subject.

Minister of Education Waleed Maani said the ministry has wrapped up its preparations for the national exam, underlining keenness to provide an adequate “examination environment” which facilitates the process for students.

The minister voiced confidence in the ministry cadres’ ability to manage the examination process, citing their accumulated experience in this field.

The ministry has put up posters of instructions and guidelines at visible places at schools, where the exam will be held to notify students, he added.
