TEVTA will export its 24000 skilled manpower to Middle East during the current financial year. TEVTA graduates will be sent in different trades including mason, steel fixer, shuttering carpenter, hospitality, drivers, electricians, welders, plumber, draftsman mechanical, machinist, auto mechanic, general fitter, turner and others. Skilled youth will be provided to both public and private sectors. This was stated by Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh in a meeting to review the progress for sending TEVTA pass-outs abroad. Chief Operating Officer Jawad Ahmed Qureshi, TEVTA officers Hamid Ghani Anjum, Abdul Qayyum, Azhar Iqbal Shad, Amer Hasan, Sarfraz Anwar and other officers were also present on this occasion.
Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that TEVTA is coordinating with renowned organizations including Gantoot, Scalla, S.S. Lootha and others in UAE to provide them manpower as per their demands. This initiative is being taken as per the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to send skilled force to Middle East.
