The Media And Communications Commission And The Korean Embassy Discuss Strengthening Cooperation In The Fields Of Communications And Information Technology

The Media and Communications Commission discussed today, Monday, with the Korean embassy strengthening cooperation in the fields of communications and information technology.

A statement by the Communications Commission stated that the Chairman of the Commission, Ali Al-Muayyad, received at the Commission’s headquarters in Baghdad, the First Secretary of the Korean Embassy in Baghdad, Yongmin SEO, and his accompanying delegation, noting that the meeting discussed possible opportunities towards creating new projects in the communications and information technology sectors, in a way that benefits citizens, promotes economic development and contributes to advancing progress in these sectors.

The statement added, “The meeting stressed the issue of protecting the rights of consumers and providing them with the best services and from solid global origins that enable them to access services in a safe and smooth manner,” pointing out that, “The meeting also witnessed the presentation of obstacles facing Korean companies operating in Iraq and possible investment opportunities in those sectors “.
