The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, discussed with the Jordanian Prime Minister, Bishr Al-Khasawneh, the fight against drugs and securing the common borders.
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement: “Al-Shammari conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani and the Iraqi government to brotherly Jordan, king, government and people.”
It added, “During the meeting, a number of issues of common interest were discussed, and ways to activate bilateral agreements between the two brotherly countries, especially at the security level, were discussed in order to enhance security and stability, including fighting drugs, securing common borders, and transnational crimes.”
