Today, Thursday, a force from the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out a security operation north of Baghdad.
The Popular Mobilization Commission said in a statement: “Today, Thursday, a force from the 12th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces launched a security operation to raid and search the areas located within the sector of responsibility in the Tarmiya district, north of the capital, Baghdad.”
It added: “A force from the Directorate of Military Engineering and the Directorate of Fighting Shields in the Popular Mobilization participated in the operation, and a large-scale security sweep was conducted in the area, as part of the security plan for the Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein (PBUH) within the sector of responsibility.”
