HE Prime Minister and Acting Minister of Interior of the Republic of Tunisia Hichem Mechichi praised the close and exemplary relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Tunisia in many areas, especially in economic and investment fields.
In a statement, Mechichi praised the State of Qatar’s support for Tunisia, especially in addressing the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Tunisia Saad bin Nasser Al Hamidi said that in implementation of the directives of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the State of Qatar has sent medical aid to Tunisia, including a field hospital with a 200-bed capacity fully-equipped in terms of medical supplies, in addition to 100 ventilators
His Excellency stressed that this medical aid comes to support the efforts of the Tunisian government in confronting the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and to consolidate the close ties and cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries.
