Ankara, – Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim met Thursday with Pakistani counterpart Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, currently on a visit to Ankara to co-chair the fifth high-level strategic cooperation council meeting between the two countries.

The two officials discussed means of boosting and developing cooperation ties between the two countries on all fronts and reviewed regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The Turkish premier highlighted the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between Turkey and Pakistan, saying both countries have always supported each other in “good and hard times,” Anadolu Agency reported. (QNA)
