Two suspects were arrested on Wednesday in Zarqa governorate over charges involving financial cases worth “large” sums of money, according to the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD).
Zarqa police were tipped on the whereabouts of a suspect wanted over 12 financial cases, worth JD3.5 million, and arrested him in a raid, the spokesperson added.
In another raid, the city’s police also nabbed a “wanted” person over 25 financial cases exceeding JD3 million, the spokesperson noted, adding that the two suspects will be referred to the concerned judicial authorities.
