The major US indexes closed mixed at the end of the trading session on Monday.
The S&P 500 rose 3.74 points, about 0.09 percent, to reach 4,137.13 points.
The Nasdaq decreased 33.89 points, about 0.28 percent, to reach 12,038.56 points.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 69.40 points, about 0.21 percent, to close at 33,878.36 points.
