The sons of Safiyah district organized a vigil on Wednesday to denounce the continued blockade and to procrastinate the coalition of aggression in the implementation of the Yemeni people’s demands regarding the humanitarian file.
In the vigil, the Mayor of the capital, Hammoud Obbad, praised the positions of the people of the honorable Municipality of the capital in defending the homeland, its sovereignty and independence, and rejecting the projects of American and Zionist hegemony and tutelage, and their role in strengthening the unity of the national ranks.
He confirmed the upholding the Yemeni people’s just demands for ending aggression, lifting the blockade, exiting foreign forces and embarking on peace, stability and full sovereignty.
Obbad pointed out the importance of the slogan of the cry to anger the arrogant and tyrants and to express the sincerity of loyalty to God and the renewal of innocence from his enemies.
A statement issued by the stand-by, in which the first Deputy Secretariat of the Capital Khaled Al-Madani participated, reaffirmed the commitment of the revolution commander to continue steadfast, enhance readiness and proceed with construction and development.
He affirmed readiness to supply the fronts with men and equipment, confront aggression, and defend the homeland and its sovereignty until victory is achieved and the occupiers are defeated from all occupied Yemeni lands.
The statement also affirmed Yemen’s firm and principled position towards supporting the nation’s causes, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, the liberation of Islamic sanctities, and the declaration of innocence from the enemies of God.
The statement of the stand called on the sons, sheikhs and notables of Al-Safiyah district to prepare a convoy to support those stationed on the fronts of pride and dignity and to continue steadfastness in the face of aggression.
