The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The report said the surface winds stir dust, limiting the horizontal visibility in parts of the Eastern Province, Riyadh, and Al-Qassim regions, the opportunity is still ripe for thunderstorms accompanied by showers of cold and active dusty winds in parts of the regions Najran, Jazan, Asir, extending to Al-Baha.
The report indicated that the movement of surface winds over the Red Sea is north-northwesterly at a speed of 16-36 km/h over the northern and central part, and westerly to the northwest at a speed of 16-36 km/h reaching 45 km/h with rainy thunderstorms over the southern part. The wave height ranged from one to one and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from one to one and a half meters up to two and a half meters, with thunderstorms and rain clouds in the southern part. The sea state is light to medium waves. It will be wavy in the southern part with thunderclouds.
The movement of surface winds over the Arabian Gulf is westerly to northwesterly, at a speed of 25-50 km/h. The wave heights range from one and a half to two and a half meters. The state of the sea is medium to rough.
