Sir: According to a report issued by the UN, Yemen has been facing a severe food crisis. More than one 0.1 million people need emergency medical aid and food supply on an urgent basis. The Yemenis are facing the food crisis due to the policies of the government of Saudi Arabia. About six months ago, Saudi Arabia started an operation against the Houthi insurgents. Due to airstrikes by the Royal Saudi Air Force, thousands of innocent civilians were killed in Yemen. Yemen is one of the poorest countries in the Middle East and facing the stigma of terrorism. The people of Yemen are helpless and the government is unable to provide them food. It is high time for Saudi Arabia to play its role and rehabilitate the victims of war in Yemen.
