Faraya added that the government established three hospitals, during the crisis, and employed a large number of doctors, nurses and medical staff “so that we would not reach a stage where the injured could not find a hospital bed,” in addition to closures, curfews and measures to isolate buildings.

“We have passed the difficult part and have now reached the stage of economic and social openness,” he stressed.

He pointed out that all service, production and educational institutions are open and operate in accordance with the approved health protocol, and this proves the efficacy of the measures taken.

With regard to receiving vaccinations, Faraya confirmed that state agencies, under the directives and vigorous follow-up of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister, made great efforts to secure vaccinations, establish vaccination centers, and motivate citizens and other residents in the Kingdom to take the vaccine as a major reason to reduce the risk of the pandemic on individuals and society.

Faraya ed that the youth work team will have the main task of assisting the administrative governors and concerned authorities in each governorate to educate citizens on the demand for receiving the vaccine, raising the level of awareness of the importance of this step, and inspecting the extent of commitment to implementing defense orders “so that we can overcome the effects of the pandemic and ensure the continuation of opening sectors and the return of daily life back to normal.”
