Zain Kuwait renewed a deal with the Association of Queen Rania Al Abdullah Award for Excellence in Education Saturday on supporting the education sector in Jordan.
In a statement, Zain Jordan said CEO Fahd Al-Jassem singed renewing the agreement with executive director of the association Lubna Touqan.
The agreement comes to complete the company’s role and efforts in backing the vital sectors, topped with education, in line with the sustainable development goals adopted by the company in all its programs and initiatives mainly the fourth and eighth goals, the statement said.
Zain Jordan has been launching and supporting educational initiatives and programs, which contribute to developing the educational sector and providing support to government schools, it noted.
Meanwhile, Toqan stressed the importance of the deal renewed by the two parties for the tenth year in a row. The association was founded by a royal initiative, with the aim of setting a national standard of excellence in teaching as well as celebrating the educators who work tirelessly to meet it.
Zain Kuwait, affiliated with the Zain Group for Mobile Communications in the Middle East and Africa, is one of the Kuwaiti investments in Jordan evaluated at USD 20 billion in various sectors.
