Qatari high jumping world champion Mutaz Barshim achieved the first place in the 2023 Diamond League athletics held on Sunday, achieving a height of 2.36 m as the best record for this season.
The best record for Barshim in this season was 2.24 m when he finished third in Doha round last May, which was his last participation before the current competition in Poland.
In Tokyo 2021 Olympic, Barshim outperformed his partner the Italian Gianmarco Tamberi, who came in the second place, recording 2.34 m.
