A 5.6 magnitude earthquake hits West Papua province in Indonesia

An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale struck West Papua Province in Indonesia.

The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency reported on Monday that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 57 kilometers from the Kaimana area in the province, and at a depth of 14 kilometers.

So far, there have been no reports of material or human losses as a result of the earthquake.”
