The security forces arrested a drug dealer in his possession 5 kilograms of crystal in Basra.
A statement by the Ministry of the Interior stated that: “After continuous field follow-up and after setting up an elaborate ambush, the General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs, through a force from Basra’s Narcotics Control, was able to arrest a very dangerous drug trafficker, in flagrante delicto, in his possession (5) kilograms of Narcotic crystal in Basra Governorate.
It added: “The necessary legal measures have been taken against him according to a judicial decision on the crime of drug trafficking.”/ End
