A joint force launched a security inspection of the southern bank of Al-Wind River, northeast of Baquba, Diyala Governorate Center.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a joint security force carried out a security operation that included searching the southern bank of Al-Wind River on the outskirts of Khanaqin, northeast of Baquba, starting from the areas of Zour Aliawah, Zour Al-Kakia, and Zour Shafiq, all the way to Helwan Bridge.
In a related context, a joint force of the popular mobilization and the army carried out a raid and search operation on the villages of Gali, the village of Al-Sada, the village of Shirk, the village of Ali Al-Saadoun, and the village of Al-Kabih to pursue the remnants of the terrorist ISIS and to prevent any attempt to infiltrate the terrorists.
