Security forces arrested a person accused of smuggling mercury in Kirkuk.
A security source said: ‘A joint security force arrested the accused (B, D, H) red-handed, and seized in his possession a quantity of ore, mercury sulfide, and cinnabar.’
He added: ‘The accused was referred to the competent authorities to take legal measures against him.
