Aden governor warns danger of accelerating collapse of situation in occupied provinces

The governor of Aden, Tariq Salam, warned of the seriousness of the accelerating collapse of the economic and security conditions in Aden and the occupied southern provinces due to the spread of corruption in the corridors of state agencies, the looting of the public treasury, and the smuggling of foreign currency from the country.

Salam confirmed in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the difficult economic situation in Aden and the increasing doses imposed by the mercenary government warns of a humanitarian catastrophe for the citizens’ lives and targets their daily sustenance and their low standard of living, which has been exacerbated by the occupier and his conflicting tools.

He pointed out that the massive corruption experienced by state institutions, the looting of the state treasury, and the smuggling of hard currency outside the country by mercenaries exacerbated the difficulties in Aden and the occupied provinces.

Salam noted that the people of Aden in particular, and the southern provinces in general, will not stand idly by in the face of the conditions, and will have a clear and strong position towards the conspiracies being hatched against their provinces.
