The Speaker of Shura Council, Muhammad Hussein al-Aidarous, called on the Shura Councils and similar councils in Africa and the Arab world to call for an extraordinary conference for all members of the Association to stand up to the latest developments in the dangerous escalation of the Israeli entity in Gaza Strip.
That came in a message he sent today to the President of the Council of Advisors in the Kingdom of Morocco – President of the Association, Al-Na’am Mayara Athar, the Secretary-General of the Association, Abdelwasee Youssef, the two assistant general secretaries of the Association, Muhammad Al-Tayeb, and Akwim Nkmijia, and the heads of the Senates, Shura Councils and similar councils in Africa and Arab world.
He called on the leadership of the League for an urgent movement at the level of the League’s countries and the international community to stand up to the escalation of the Israeli entity and come up with decisions that contribute to pressure in international forums on the United Nations and the Security Council to get out of the circle of shameful silence regarding the crimes of the occupation and stop its escalation and violations against the Palestinian people.
The message referred to the brutal crimes and massacres committed by the Israeli aggression aircraft since the dawn of last Tuesday in Gaza Strip, which resulted in the killing of 30 martyrs and 93 injured, most of them women and children, and the number is expected to increase due to the continued bombing.
Al-Aidarous condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist bombing and massacres committed by the Israeli aggression in Gaza Strip, and its direct targeting of assassination of leaders of the Islamic Jihad movement along with their families.
He denounced the silence of the international community towards the persistence of the Israeli enemy in committing its brutal crimes that amount to war crimes against humanity, in flagrant and blatant violation of all international and humanitarian laws.
In his message, Al-Aidarous held the United Nations, the International Security Council and its affiliated organizations, and the international community responsible for the historical silence due to the shameful silence regarding the repeated and continuous crimes by the enemy usurping entity against the Palestinian people.
From the capital of steadfastness Sana’a, he reaffirmed Yemen’s steadfast and supportive position for the Palestinian cause, and the right of the Palestinian people, their valiant and heroic resistance to take all appropriate options to confront Zionist arrogance until ending the Zionist occupation, arrogance and establishing the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
In the message, Al-Aidarous saluted the resistance’s unified and earth-shaking response in confronting Zionist arrogance and repelling aggression, which strengthened the equation of deterrence and terrified the enemy in his own house.
In this context, he stressed the necessity of continuing the resistance against the usurping entity, as it is the best way to stop the Israeli crime, end the aggression, and cleanse the occupied lands from Zionists’ filth.
