Al Jarwan meets Kazakh Senate Chair

NUR SULTAN, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, met with Ashimbayev Maulen Sagathanuly, Chair of the Senate of Kazakhstan.

 

The meeting was held on the sidelines of Al Jarwan’s participation in the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which is being held in the Kazakh capital, Nur Sultan.

 

During the meeting, Al Jarwan and Sagathanuly discussed opportunities for enhancing the cooperation between the council and its various entities and the Kazakh Senate, with the aim of promoting the principles of tolerance and peace around the world.

 

Al Jarwan explained the council’s activities and highlighted its international efforts to promote the culture of tolerance and peace, as well as its leading global initiatives and projects.

 

He also expressed his appreciation for the key role of Kazakhstan in supporting security, stability, tolerance and peace, and officially invited the Kazakh Senate to join the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace.

 

Sagathanuly highlighted his country’s efforts to support global peace and commended the council’s role in promoting the culture of tolerance and peace around the world.

 

He also thanked Al Jarwan for cooperating with the Kazakh Senate and establishing relations with state institutions in Kazakhstan.
