Al-Markhiya Club announced today the signing of Portuguese Diogo Rochinha from Sporting Lisbon to join the first football team, on a one-season loan contract with an option to buy.
In an official statement posted on the Al-Markhiya Club website, the new player said he was happy to join Al-Markhiya and play alongside a number of distinguished and experienced players, while appreciating the warm reception accorded to him from the technical and administrative staff and his fellow players, considering it a motivation for him to offer the best technical levels and help the team achieve its aspirations and ambitions in the new edition of QNB Stars League.
Al-Markhiya team is holding in a training camp in Turkiye in preparation for the season 2023-2024. The camp will continue until August 5 after which the team will return to Doha for another final local camp ahead of the upcoming edition of the League on August 17.
