The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, warned of a group of “corrupt thieves” who claim to belong to a central committee affiliated with his private office.
Al-Sadr said in his response to this matter:
We have no connection with them… They are all liars, thieves, corrupt, worldly, cunning people… The only ones authorized by us are the Central Committee, and they are Brother Sayyid Hazem Al-Araji, Brother Sheikh Halim Al-Fatlawi, Brother Sheikh Muhammad Al-Aboudi, and Brother Muhammad Khazal and brother Ahmed Sajet or whoever is authorized by them, and you should know that this popular ideological project is a purely afterlife project, so do not involve it with worldly and frivolous matters, otherwise the punishment will be severe against every corrupt person./End
