The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad on Monday summoned the Ambassador of Denmark and the Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of Sweden in Algeria to protest the recent Quran burning in the two countries.
In a press statement, the Ministry said it conveyed to the two diplomats Algeria’s official protest and firm condemnation of the recurrent incidents of burning and desecration of copies of the Holy Quran.
