Archbishop of the Maronite Archdiocese of Tripoli, Bishop Youssef Soueif, on Tuesday received at the Archdiocese in Tripoli, the Australian Ambassador to Lebanon, Andrew Barnes, with whom he discussed the situation in Lebanon and the region, especially in Tripoli and North Lebanon. Discussions also touched on the means of cooperation and coordination in mainly supporting the students of the Archdiocese schools in Tripoli and the North, as well as on the issue of developing rural areas. The pair stressed the importance of strengthening the Lebanese-Australian relations in various fields, and developing the cultural, tourism and economic cooperation.
