Chairman of the Emirates Council for Sharia Fatwa: The UAE is a pioneer in helping the needy in general and the people of Palestine in particular.

The scholar Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah, Chairman of the Emirates Council for Sharia Fatwa, emphasized the pioneering role of the UAE in helping and rescuing those in need.

Bin Bayyah said in statements on Sunday that the “Compassion for Gaza” campaign directed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, is an affirmation of the pioneering role of the UAE in providing relief and assistance to the needy in general and the people of Palestine in particular, considering that the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through Our brothers in Gaza and the urgent need for aid and relief require everyone to help them and provide them with humanitarian aid in light of these difficult conditions.

He stressed that our tolerant Sharia calls for helping the needy, relieving the distressed, and helping the oppressed. God Almighty says, “The parable of those who spend their wealth in the cause of God is that of a grain that produces seven ears of corn, and in each ear is a hundred grains.” And God multiplies for whom He wills. And God is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.” As the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, says “Charity is proof” and is proof of faith, generosity and solidarity.

He turned to God Almighty to remove the grief, have mercy on the nation, and facilitate the means of security, wellness, safety, and peace.
