The caretaker government’s spokesman, Minister of Information, Daifallah Al-Shami, confirmed that the American classification under the name “Terrorist List” only came against the backdrop of Yemen’s honorable position towards the Palestinian issue.
The government spokesman explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that this classification came in the service of the Zionist entity and in support of it continuing to commit genocidal massacres against the Palestinians without any response or harassment.
He considered this classification an open bias towards the Zionist enemy and a new moral failure for the American administration.
He pointed out that America uses the terrorist designation card to blackmail and intimidate anyone who violates America’s policies.
Minister Al-Shami pointed out that the position of the Yemeni people in supporting the brothers in Gaza who are exposed to the ugliest types of American and Zionist terrorism is a religious, moral, humanitarian and principled position
, is consistent with humanitarian law , positive laws that call for peace and stopping wars, and it is a position that is also consistent with all free people in the world.
He stressed that this classification does not target a group or party in itself, but rather it targets all Yemenis, the peoples of the region, and the free people of the world.
The government spokesman reiterated the Yemeni people’s continued support of the brothers in Palestine and preventing Israeli ships or those heading to the occupied Palestinian ports from passing through the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and Bab al-Mandab.
