Hodeida Governorate is unique in its widespread manifestations of celebrations and rejoicing in commemoration of the noble birth of the Prophet and the consolidation of the identity of faith and the values of belonging to the Great Messenger.
In conjunction with the unprecedented celebrations that the governorate is witnessing in all its directorates in preparation for the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal, the emotional and spiritual manifestations of faith are embodied in the level of keenness and competition to commemorate the occasion and anticipate.
Manifestations of religious identity and features of Muhammadan love are evident in the early preparations, including preparatory meetings, events, seminars, and widespread participation in decorating facility buildings, gardens, streets, mosques, and homes.
For three weeks, dozens of festive evenings have been held daily, in all neighborhoods and squares of the city of Hodeida and the governorate’s districts, to celebrate the occasion as an important religious and mobilization milestone.
As the day of the occasion approaches, decorating streets, buildings, service facilities, main roads, and city entrances, and hanging light and cloth panels, is accelerating in preparation for celebrating the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet of Humanity.
The manifestations of the celebration of the birth anniversary of the Seal of the Prophets are accompanied by awareness programs and expanded central and local meetings to mobilize activities and events to commemorate the occasion and the establishment of field committees, education, mobilization and awareness.
Activities celebrating the anniversary of the birth of the Messenger of God are characterized by various manifestations in various directorates and include songs of praise, poems and chants in love with the Prophet during evenings and events.
The educational sector and all the governorate’s schools provide a model for insisting on commemorating the Prophet’s birthday, with events and activities that vary between events, lectures, seminars, and broadcasts.
The women’s sector in Hodeida Governorate is implementing a series of events and activities characterized by diversity and wide participation in commemorating events and fragrant dhikr gatherings to narrate the pure biography and meanings of the message of Muhammad, in rejoicing on the anniversary of his birth.
The Governor of Hodeida, Muhammad Ayyash Qahim, affirmed that the Yemeni people, as a Muslim nation, have the right to be proud of this occasion and to give it the attention it deserves, which embodies the authenticity of the Ansar from the people of Yemen who were among the first to believe and enter Islam and support the Messenger Muhammad, may the best prayers and peace be upon him and his family.
He explained that the various cultural events and seminars organized by official and unofficial institutions and bodies embody the greatness and importance of the anniversary of the Prophet’s birth and its significance so that the faith identity and the correct Muhammadan approach are firmly established in the minds and consciences of generations, which protects them from false cultures by the enemies of the Islamic religion.
Deputy Head of the Scholars and Learned Unit in the governorate, Sheikh Ali Adhabi, explained that the campaigns adopted by the arrogant powers to spread atheism and perversion, and immorality confirm the importance of returning to the Messenger of God and adhering to Islam and the importance of reviving such an occasion, to confront the soft war.
He said, “Everyone must return to Islam and its teachings, and we must protect our children from the dangers of the Internet and bad friends.”
For his part, the director of the Endowments Office in the governorate, Faisal Al-Hatfi, urged a sincere and serious return to the teachings of Islam as a practical confirmation and actual translation of the saying of the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, “Faith is Yemen and wisdom is Yemen.”
The celebrations taking place in Hodeida Governorate on the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday coincide with other aspects of joy, represented by the cleaning campaigns taking place in the streets of Hodeida City, and the continuation of the work of decorating hospitals and schools.
