National Cyber Security Council, CPX sign MoU to improve cyber maturity of government entities

ABU DHABI, The UAE Cyber Security Council and UAE-based cyber solutions and services company, Cyber Protection X Holding LLC (CPX), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together to enhance the cyber maturity of government entities in the UAE.

The MoU, which was signed at GISEC, the largest cyber security event in the Gulf region, currently underway in Dubai, means CPX will enable all government and semi-government entities to improve their cybersecurity posture in line with national standards.

The agreement leverages CPX’s Cyber Advisory and Assessment services, to establish the current cyber security posture of government organisations and the implementation of advanced cyber solutions to close any gaps.

Dr. Mohammed Hamad Al-Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government, said, “CPX’s expertise will help accelerate the cyber resilience of the UAE. It’s these collaborative efforts between the leadership of the country, the NCSC and partners like CPX that will allow the nation to continue to lead the region in embracing a safe connected digital future.”

Khaled Al Melhi, CEO of CPX, added, “Organisations that invest in improving their cyber maturity, do better. We are proud to partner with the NCSC and UAE government entities on this journey, limiting their exposure to cyber threats and increasing their exposure to opportunities to innovate and thrive.”
