PM praises Human Rights Ministry vital role

The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, affirmed the national responsibility of the Ministry of Human Rights in advocating Yemeni human rights issues at the local and external levels.

The Prime Minister, during his meeting today with the Minister of Human Rights, Ali Al-Dailami, praised the vital roles of this human rights ministry and its responsible and impartial handling of the issues of the various segments of Yemeni society, and the grave violations they were subjected to by the aggression coalition, affecting their various basic rights, foremost of which is their right to life.

The meeting, which was attended by Minister of State Ahmed Al-Ali, discussed the activities of the Ministry of Human Rights, with its national and external extension, and the priorities of its plan for the next year.

Al-Dailami affirmed the ministry’s keenness to advocate all human rights issues for the Yemeni citizen at home and abroad, based on the nature of its job and its keenness to deal with high professionalism with all communications received. He pointed to the report prepared by the ministry on the aggression’s violations of the various human rights of the Yemeni person over the past years, which was published Recently.

He pointed out the need to enhance the level of government support for the ministry and its annual plan for the next year 1445 AH, to enable it to carry out its tasks and programs in accordance with the specified timelines.

The meeting was attended by the head of the Protocol Department in the prime minister’s office, Ismail Al-Mahatwari.
